GSM Metals Inc. (GSM) is proud to be family owned and operated. In 2002, GSM was purchased by its current family ownership, in order to provide a stable, quality supply of precious metal raw materials to its sister company (founded 1992) Cimini and Associates, Inc.(C&A) GSM was originally housed in a 15,000 square foot facility with approximately 20 employees in East Providence Rhode Island. Once a consistent, reliable product flow was established, GSM was able to begin supplying the outside marketplace with mill products made from gold, silver and platinum alloys. In 2008, GSM acquired its current 76,000 square foot, state of the art manufacturing facility located in Cranston Rhode Island. This acquisition included an array of equipment that instantaneously expanded and improved GSM’s capabilities from melt to final fabrication. Between 2009 and 2011, GSM made the decision to incorporate jewelry fabrication and finishing into its overall operations. This vertical integration vastly improved efficiencies from a quality, delivery, and cost perspective. Currently, GSM employs approximately 70 non-union employees.
Today, GSM is a manufacturer of precious metal alloys, mill products and precision engineered precious metal jewelry. Major products are manufactured from simple to sophisticated alloys of silver, gold, and platinum. GSM specializes in raw materials and components that are difficult to manufacture, while requiring precise tolerances. GSM services a premier client base that is comprised of leaders in the Jewelry, Aerospace, Electronic, Automotive, Coinage, Musical Arts industries. One of GSM’s most significant strengths is that all products, from each of these different business segments,
are manufactured on the same equipment. This scenario provides security in that the overall business is less
susceptible to swift economic change. GSM leverages its technologies and competencies to service and grow this customer base.

Beyond its technical and engineering expertise, GSM possesses the competitive edge in that it has the ability to design and manufacture a product from start to finish, while maintaining strict lot integrity and traceability back to the mine itself.
With the combination of all its capabilities, GSM can produce raw materials, extrude, draw, machine components, solder, laser engrave, polish, inspect, and ship to the industry's highest quality standards. GSM recycles its own scrap into new melts for the next batch of products to be made; therefore avoiding expensive refining and processing costs. These savings from GSM's strategic structure can be directly reflected in the prices to our customers.
